I have been without service for almost a year. Even though I am on public assistance, Medicaid, and S.N.A.P. When I applied online I received no response for two months. I was finally forced to go to one of the street vendors, reluctantly. Within a week I received a response, no phone just a sim card. Apparently online I mistakenly applied under THE B.Y.O.P. option, which cannot be reversed for some inexplicable reason. I just recently received another card that was incompatible with the phone I wanted to purchase. So I was sent another, which is apparently you guessed it the wrong one. So now I have spent money I didn’t have to get a phone I didn’t want, and I can’t use because the idiots at SafeLink sent me the wrong card. I use the word idiots loosely, that’s being kind. Whoever regulates these people needs to step up their game. This is ludicrous. Our government at it’s best.
I qualify for a free phone I use to have your service till my phone broke ,I’m dropping SafeLink they sent me a phone that’s to small for my fingers it has a Idaho area code and I get wrong numbers daily now the screen broke and service is bad I’ dropped them and need a cell phone asap. Some people just do not know how to apply, upgrade ask for the proper sim card I advise that you RESEARCH what you need before applying,order,upgrading etc…I have never had any of these problems. Take your time otherwise you will most likely get the run around and around for the longest until you just give up. Remember they are giving you something for free you need what they are offering. Check out what phones they offer the requirements send your documents. Be diligent and aware of the amount of time that you are waiting for a reply, phone or replacement. Things do happen.
