I would just like to give a heads up on a couple out of several experiences I’ve had with a company I was with for almost 2 years (waaay to long). I wish someone would have posted something like this as a warning as to the turmoil I would be heading for if I chose them. I had Terracom, (which I also discovered is a sister company of yourtel for your information). If they work the same way you are just outta luck. Recently they sent me an “upgraded” phone, and from the first day it was defective. I called them the same day I got it and basically they said “to bad”. They would not fix or replace it without me giving them another 50 dollars for another phone. Keep in mind this was the same day I got it. I briefly limped around with it for a very short time until it wouldn’t charge anymore. I was stuck. I had ads in the paper (with no phone) etc. and their only solution to me was, again, “upgrade” to another phone for 50. more dollars! This is so typical of this company. I’ve had SEVERAL various issues with this company since the beginning and I don’t ever think I’ve seen worse customer service! I’ve also called during the day on several occaisions where I got a message that they weren’t taking calls at this time leaving me high and dry. When I lost my phone and “upgraded” the 1st time, it took them 6 weeks to get my phone to me. It was blank promise after blank promise. Each person I talked to was clueless why I didn’t have a phone and would give me more blank promises. It was also SO frustrating when I did talk to them because they were from India or somewhere and their English was HORRIBLE! I have so many more instances where they proved nothing but incompetence! Needless to say, I have now dropped them like a hot potato! (which I should’ve done so much earlier!) It is the most worthless, joke of a company I’ve EVER seen! I’m just giving you a courtesy heads up, but make your own decision. Just sayin’.
Sharon, That terracom company sounds like one to avoid. This article is about Assist Wireless, and they are a pretty big deal in Oklahoma. I’ve had them for some time now, with very few problems. Considering the amount of govt regulation tied with the Lifeline program (obama phones), they seem to have a pretty good operation going on there. If you need assistance, a free phone is better than none, and they do a pretty good job of giving you ways to earn credit and keep everything real affordable. I think other states have free phone and service, but this article is a little outdated-I pay one dollar a month for unlimited text and like 2000 minutes.
Asstit wireless stinks as a phone com. They want to change your plan wthout notice. Then they tell you have to make a call or you lose your service how can you make a call if you are out of min. They only give you 500 min for the month tell me how long does that last and when you call care service you get a operater you cant understand cause of their accent or speaking english very good iam teady to change phone co.ay suggestions.
My phone number is 918-644-3062 right now my phone not on yet i don’t know what be on to and i want my phone on today or what let me knows what is ok thank you and

My husband got a assit wireless and it really sucks, the phone freezes up constantly, when he tries to text it goes crazy putting in letters he doesn’t even touch, and it will not let him send out.it will randomly call people without him touching the phone.after he paid for internet he took his phone back where he got just to be told too bad your stuck with it and his service he just paid for was taken off…Really this pisses me off!and now you want an email address he can’t check!!!
i dont get my minutes in i need my telephone i send the applycation in i call manny times in then they toll i dont ha anny pproblem well they not give my minutes in february so can i get telephone with ya am safelink 4792741322
Be careful with Assist Wireless’s OK NonTribal Lifeline 1000Talk/Unltd Text/1GB-3G phone plan. They say that you get 1,000 talk minutes each month. BUT you never do, it’s a DAMM lie. You get 500 minutes only. The 1,000 talk minutes plan is really only 500 minute plan. I have tried to find out when they download my other 500 minutes and customer service keeps giving me dates but no minutes are never downloaded. If they put more minutes on my plan they charge me. I knew that I wasn’t talking a 1000 minutes per month but I didn’t question it. They pissed me off when I brought 400 minutes and 1 week from my due date they took at least 150 minutes back. Then I brought 200 more minutes for $8.00 talked 165 minutes. Then I get a text stating that I had only 10 minutes left. I didn’t have 1 dam minute left. If you have an assist wireless minute phone plan count, verify, your minutes real close and you will catch them in a dam lie. I just wish they would tell me the TRUTH and not LIE to me. My web page shows Enrolled Plan:OK NonTribal Lifeline 1000Talk/Unltd Text/1GB-3G, BUT it’s only a 500 minute plan. Before anybody says I probably talked all my minutes up. I’m not the cell phone freak that has to be on this cell phone 24 hours a day. I don’t have a lot of people to talk too any dam way. if you have Assist minute phone plan you need to watch your minutes because you may not getting the phone plan Assist shows on your webpage. Since Assist keeps lying to me I am thinking about changing my cell phone carrier. I been with Assist for 4 years but they will not tell me the truth that I am only on a 500 minute plan and not a 1,000 minute plan that is listed on my account. They took the minutes back that I brought to make sure I would run out before my due date.
Hey how long dones it take for the phone to cum
